Hi Allen,Looks like you can rent a kayak,try http://www.rivertrail.com/ or http://www.riverriders.com/ Both the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers are lower that normal now so you may want to wait for some much needed rain.I have only rafted and tubed on the Shenandoah.I enjoy bicycling on the C&O Canal,that follows the Potomac River.

I spent about 2 hours at Aberdeen last summer and took many tanks pictures also.
