Hi Beverley. I was nice to meet you and Nicky (?)last weekend on the RPS Studio Lighting course. Just had a look at your gallery and it's stunning! I love your play with shallow DOF and I just might have to get myself a lensbaby. I thought the w/e was good value for money, but it also made me realise that studio portraiture is not for me. Too much equipment and posing! Hope to keep in touch and good luck with your career although it doesn't look as if you need it. Best regards Pirjo

Hi Bev. Good to meet you this w/e in Lacock. Your wedding images are beautiful & it's obvious how much you enjoy this work. Lots of fun & energy & creativity in your other galleries too! I shall be coming back for ideas! :-) Some of my Lacock images are corrupted, very annoying, but did manage to get some reasonable shots & as always when I meet other photographers it has inspired me to get out there & take more pictures. Had to chuckle about the 100-400 pretty pretty please. I opted for that lens (Canon 100-400 f4.5-5.6 L IS) and the 24-70 f2.8 L series in lieu of a slew of "lesser" lenses, and I am glad I did. I can't remember a time when I said "gee, I wish i had a ______" Nice gallery John

I am new to photography and often look on PBase to be inspired by what can be achieved ! Usually the photographer is based in America or Canada or elswhere in the world - I was so thrilled when I saw your profile as SUFFOLK ! I live there too in Oulton broad ! I have been on a long learning curve with DSLR and Photoshop CS2; I'll hopefully get there one day! Beverly, Thanks again!! I took the macro & flower shots near a local library. They started changing the garden a few days ago. When I have time, I'll go back and see if I can capture more colors for you!! As for my latest SP, that was done just before midnight because I didn't have anything else to post.
