Hi Robert, Thanks for your nice comment regarding my photos taken at the Missouri Botanical Garden. The official word is that they do not allow tripods or monopods without express written permission on a case by case basis. But...one of our club members said that he spoke with someone there and that person said it was ok. Not sure why the inconsistency there. Also, one of the member of our club that was there with me used a monopod all day long. That's not a very definite answer to your question. I'd say try it; they might ask you to stop using it. I doubt very seriously that they would ask you to leave if you complied with that after being asked. Your photos are awesome indeed! Mike

Hi Robert, thanks for your comments. You have very impressive images here. The grand canyion looks just unreal, esp. on the images with the pronounced shadows. I as well like your gallieries 'places I remember' and 'about Rivers...' It's funny I live not too far away from the Felsenmeer, and I was delighted to see it.
