As I contemplate leaving PBase because it does not seem to work as a community unless you scratch backs all the time............and as my journey into historical processes and analogue stylz becomes much more representative of me..........I realise you have been there at heart all the time. You see wonderfully, you inspire me, and you are very clever. I love the quotes in your profile and wish I had maybe visited your galleries everyday to be encouraged and challenged. Your images are beautiful.............and evocative, experimental and unboxed. If I do leave......I will come back to see what you do........Thanks Faye for looking at my humble images.

Faye: I just stumbled onto your galleries this morning. I think you may be a purist when it comes to PAD (actual shot on the day. I'm trying to maintain the purist mode. As you know, some days are difficult. I've enjoyed your galleries and will be watching each day. Keep up the good work.

great work faye i like to see good work with the s2pro it lets me know i made the right choice to purchase one also alot of the places in the photos look like they were made here in Atlanta especially the animal pictures ,well i you done a great job.

Faye, I found your images through Paul Walters 'photo a day' project. Very original idea. Your 'today' is already bringing wonderful results too ! Don't ever give up ! Your images are so good. You are number one on my list of favourite artist. You have a true gift - incredible eye for photography. I just couldn't stop looking at your work. Your galleries kept me watching for about an hour. Hi Faye, Great moon pictures. I have tried to do this with (very) limited success. Like yourself, I have both a Sony DSC-F707 and a Meade telescope (quite an old 8 inch Schmidt-Cassegrain). I know that a T-adapter can be obtained to work with a 35mm camera body (which basically swaps the telescope for the camera lens). But how do you attach a digial camera with a fixed lens (like the Sony) ? I have tried attaching the camera via a fixed tube attachment. This simply holds the camera against the open the open end of the telescope. It doesn't work at all (not surprising as the eye sees nothing without an eyepiece either). I have also tried mounting the camera on a tripod next to the camera. It is virtually impossible to get the camera close enough to get any image - and it is usually only a partial one (the sort you get if your eye drifts away from the dead centre of the eyepiece). How do you attach your Sony to your telescope ? Cheers Graham
