My name is Joop Schilperoord, living in the heart of second largest city in the Netherlands, Rotterdam
I have an appartment close by the river Maas, in front of which new high rise buildings are to be
constructed in the near future, of which I will give a report.
I consider this as a contribution to the exchange of photographic experience and
not a show case for photographic art, though, I must admit, there are many beautiful
photos on this site. I am not so in for looking for inspiring little flowers or
beautiful sunsets over distant horizons. I just try to keep a record of my 'life' as it is
evaluating, thus photographing things and people I like, and always keeping a keen eye on
unattended happenings.
So, in contrast to many PBase users I am not afraid for having my photos copied,
no copyright thus involved. That's for people who want (or have) to make a living of their photos.
For me it's a sheer form of entertainment. And sharing is now kinda part of my life.

I used a Fujifilm F601Zoom camera. I like it's handy format, so I can take it everywhere with me. Mostly unnoticed. Here are all the photos featured on PBase made by these camera:
I've upgraded my system recently with a slightly more expensive camera, an Olympus C5050 zoom.
