Kaj went digital in 2003, originally for the purpose of making snapshots easy to e-mail. But the instant feedback and ease of image editing quickly changed his mind.
Digital photography revived his long time interest in photography and he has not shot a frame of film since.
The photos from 2003 to December 2005 are taken with a Nikon Coolpix 5700.
From December 2005 moved to a Nikon D200.
In April 2009 it was time for a Nikon D700.
From June 2012 a Nikon D800.
From April 2021 Nikon Z7 II, mainly due to the quality of the Z lenses and the weight savings.
Lenses used are indicated under the individual photos.
The galleries here are a sampling of Kaj's journey in digital photography.
Since early March 2020 images here have been uploaded in AdobeRGB if warranted by the colors, instead of the old internet standard sRGB. AdobeRGB shows a larger range (gamut) of colors. However, to see the full intended colors you need to have a wide gamut monitor.
