Hi Nelson,
You do have a great vision taking the people's picture and captured their expression and good moments on the event photos.

Thanks so much for your comments! How are you? I am in China right now, and didn't get chance to shot much.

Regarding the reason of using 20d instead 1d2 for the Butterfly Lover performance, i was trying to be low profile. :) With 1d2, I should have done better.

Ah, my favorite pic from your Italy trip (which I loved browsing) is your profile shot!

Nelson, really appreciated the thought you put into those pictures, giving me a
Fresh look on places now somewhat familiar to me. Will be back to check out the
other ones athttp://www.pbase.com/nelsonc/travel_and_places . FINE work !

Nelson,
Thanks for the comment on my gallery. The stuff you were talking about are just variations on the image it helps me pickup images by name when I am uploading.

Kent,
Thanks. Yes you can set the owner name with the Canon software that came with your 20D. Take a look at your EOS Digital Software manual page W-50 if you are using Windows or M-50 if you are using MacOS.

Great photos - I have a new canon 20 d and am wondering how do I set up my camera so that when I look at the file info - it shows that I am the owner/photographer of the pictures. Can this be set in the camera, or do I need to do this to each photo in processing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks Nelson for you compliments! And here is my findings regarding the 300/2.8IS. Yes, it is heavy, and I do use it with a monopod often, but I can handhold it for a while when needed without problem. The IS is very effective, to me, it is as effective as 70-200 IS. Indeed a wonderful lens!

btw, I really like your renaissance photos - that first prize winner photos is truly amazing. Love your other work too, best.

And the lenses - I use an EF 28-135, EF-S 10-22 and EF-S 18-55. Plus my small G3 camera:)

Thanks for commenting on my photos Nelson - I'm glad I visited your gallery, you know your stuff! Some nice colours and depth-of-field play in your work. Regards, Gediminas

P.S. To answer your question, I almost exclusively shoot handheld - there were just a couple night shots of Hong Kong from a tripod.

Thanks for your comments on my Carnaval Del Pueblo Gallery.
The Lens I used here was a Sigma 18-125mm F3.5-5.6 DC Zoom. It's equivilant to a 28-300mm lens on a 35mm SLR.
Cheers
