Hi Sherry..thanks for your compliments of my galleries. I've been taking pictures since 1983 and now this website has allowed me to gather them all in one place. I'm digging through boxes trying to find my old favorites while at the same time I'm still snapping away.

Hi..my name is Mike Martin. I'm from St. John's, Newfoundland. I joined Pbase in January of this year and have put a few photos on since. I noticed the scanned images that you have in your Minolta XG9 gallery. They are very good. I scanned some of my old pictures and put them online, too. The problem with mine was the graininess of the scanned images. I was wandering around Pbase browsing and came across another user with a suggestion to use this really neat freeware, called Neat Image. It did wonders for my scanned images. Sometimes it smoothed them out too much, but overall it made them look much better. If you don't mind, I took the liberty of using the software on one of your images.
