SAM .Thanks my Friend for the apologize of my Pictures.But you are a particular photographer for me,a day in the dark side and a day in the light with the heat of the family.That gives strange view and so warm view of the life.It is like a movie with hard time and very hot ambiance.It is the life in fact.For me if a photographer can do that it is a Great Photographer.Big Job.

Hi Sam Have you heard any thing about a new dslr comming for China? I have read to reports about THAT. Olympus and Panasonic L1 I went to the Oly/ Panasonic -club seminar I still can't see anything their view finders are dim ! How ever I switched the lens from the Panasonic L1( a leica kit lens)to the oly 510 , Sam what a wow!!!! I took 5 shots and viewed them on the their computer Sam I swear you could shave with them--- sharp clear full of detail ---Amazeing I'll keep you posted

my worst fears have come true sigma --I finaly got to hold one ,see one but not use one! we took the sigma to UPS to sent it in for repair ---Dust--- where I live and the kind of photographs I like this camera woun't work for me I am really down in the dumps it a little worst then my d80 in the dust problems. I need weather a proof unit and sealed lens no doubt about it Sam I am back to square one I hate the sony ccd chip in the d200 and pentax what to do?

Bravo! Masterful images of and thoughts concerning the addiction that I also dearly love ... and hate. For me it's life, it's very much sex, and it's very likely gonna ultimately mean death. I go to the gym and do my aerobic work on the eliptical trainer like a madman, believing this will ward away the evil spirits of cellular destruction. What is helping me to move in the direction of putting the habit down is that more and more people are recoiling from me - the smoker. But then there are still those folks, some "out", some closeted, for whom tobacco is part of erotic rituals. These men are my buddies in hot, but ultimately damn stupid behavior. I've never had a problem incorporating "risk-reduction" - "safe-sex" behaviors into my life as a gay man. Maybe smoking is my way of shaking my fist at the sky that will never yield an answer. Who knows? Time for some coffee and a Players Navy Cut. Real addicts move past filtered smokes ya know ... I'm the guy you'll see tearing the filter off a smoke after I bum one from someone. Here's a photo-op: Get a camera ready sometime to capture the look of total shock + disbelief that the person witnessing the "ripping of the filter" pretty much always displays as they watch a real addict go after what he craves. But keep shooting: soon the person's face will soften as their denial kicks in and they soothe themsleves with the thought "Man has he got a problem ... glad I'm not hooked on these things like that guy is." Keep staring it in the face man ... stay open to the potential for recovery ... well, at least that's what I'm tryin' to do. Thanks for listening. MarkVincent
