Message from Cesar Fernandez
The creation of art by men, in any of its forms,
has, unconsciously, been nothing but
an attempt to emulate nature’s forms, colors and sounds.
From the grandeur of the unspoiled landscape
to the smallest details in texture, patterns and colors,
earth is an infinite gallery of fragile, priceless
art’s masterpieces.
Have you see them?
They are out there… all around us!
Open your eyes and let your imagination run Wild
let the colors of dawn lighten your senses,
let the magic of Nature conquer your spirit.

Originally from Dominican Republic and living in the US since 1987.
Nature and Wildlife photography grew as an integral part of what has always been a passion and obsession in my life, which is Nature and Wildlife. Since 2001 I found the opportunity and began to travel around the world, visiting mostly those lands known
for their natural wonders and wildlife. Since then I have witnessed some of the most amazing places on earth, and here, in these
galleries, I want to share with you a small sample of what I saw and experienced so you also can see the amazing places and natural treasures we all have, and at the same time, the immese responsibility we all have to protect and insure the existence and
survival of these species and wonders of nature.
My mission is to inspire and to teach. Knowledge is wisdom; wisdom promotes fairness and tolerance.
Conservation and protection of our own habitat and the other species which we share this planet with, is an indirect reflection of
our own success and ability to survive as a species.
Is not a question of "if" or "how"; we must make this a priority in our agenda before is too late. We owe it to our future generations and we owe it to ourselves.
My photography is characterized by simply showing my subjects as close as reality as possible. I believe that NATURE is already magnificently beautiful as it is and there is no need for any additional Photoshop filters or special effects to enhance its beauty.
I do only the basic Photoshop adjustments with no excessive color or contrast saturation to "beautify" the image. In other words: "what you are seeing, is what I saw". I view my work as "documentary" more than artistic. I do not create art, rather I seek and try to capture the light, ....that special moment in time.
I do not use flash, reflectors or any other artificial light...only NATURAL light. I have recently started using flash light in very low-light situations while photographing birds in fly and under other very low-light or unusual situations. It has been an interesting experimentation with "perplexing" results at times, but interesting nonetheless.
( If any image in my galleries has any purposely exaggerated Photoshop enhancements , added or eliminated subjects from the original image, etc. it will be disclosed as a caption at the bottom of the image.)
Hope you enjoy my images. --
